What the Vault can do alone
Safe automation: plan, remind, download, process, publish. Not: silently spending points or starting a live session.
Can automate
- Refresh the nightly target list.
- Generate ACP plans for T68/T33/T14/T5/T21.
- Download new FITS from the Data Archive API once credentials are stored on the Vault.
- Calibrate, stack and process with Siril, GraXpert and StarNet.
- Publish to the gallery and notify you.
Deliberately not automatic
- Booking paid telescope time — it spends points.
- Starting a live session — free scopes are live-only.
- Anything that hits iTelescope harder than a human would.
Later: a booking helper that pre-fills the form and asks for one confirmation, with a hard points cap. No blind auto-book.
